Cool Gargoyle Costume

My son always picks unique costumes. This year he wanted to be in gargoyle. This gargoyle costume turned out being one of the easiest costumes I have ever made. Bonus!

I used gray fleece to sew pants and a shirt. for both i sewed in muscle lines to add a bit of definition.  For the wings i cut out my shape then sewed them together making a casing. I then inserted flexible pvc pipe into the casing to hold the shape and  sewed the wings to the wings to the back of the shirt.  I then shaded in areas with black acrylic paint. I sprayed the entire thing  with a fleck stone spray paint. For the hands and feet I purchaced ape hands and some feet that i believe were actually reptile man feet and painted them both to match. He got a lot of comments and stayed warm all night too.
