This year we decided to dress our toddler up as Chucky. While shopping at Target I found a shirt that I thought would make a good Chucky shirt. We also picked up some overalls while we were there. We already had the red shoes. I also found some red felt letters at Michael’s to spell out “Good Guys” on his overalls. I used the same red felt to cover his buttons. I was able to easily remove the felt and not ruin the overalls.
Yesterday I got him dressed, sprayed his hair, colored in some freckles, and took some pictures of him as “Good Chucky. Then we added some temporary tattoos to his face to create wounds. We finished it off with a fake knife.
I tell you this Homemade Chucky Costume was a HIT! We had people taking his picture and he was featured in the newspaper. I must say that making this costume felt great I will never buy him a premade costume again.
