This Bunch of Grapes Costume Idea was easily made. All that is needed is 1 packet of balloons, purple or green (I got metallic purple ones from a party shop), green material (cheap lining is what I used). I made the leaf out of cardboard, left a little lip on the end and attached it onto an old hairband with super glue. Covered the lot, even my face and shoulders with green material, cutting out slots for eyes and mouth.
Next time I would not cover entire face as it got annoying when nobody knew who I was when talking to people I knew. Best way to attach balloons is with safety pins. Make sure you have lots or the costume looks a little flimsy! Be prepared to have people burst them! I brought a spare pack and still had none left at the end of the night!
Any kind of similar coloured clothes underneath completes the outfit! Make sure its something you’re happy wearing though as by the end of the night, it is likely that it is all that will be left!
