My costume was inspired by 1980’s Jem and the Holograms. The dress and belt was handmade by someone on etsy.com. The Jem star earrings were also made by someone on etsy.com. The wig was purchased from Rockstar Wigs. The makeup was XOTIC Eyes and regular makeup.
One night I used Xotic Eyes decals and another night I used a Sephora pink eye shadow pencil and Revlon fuchsia glitter liquid eye shadow. The filled in my eye brows with Sephora purple mascara. I wore silver metallic fishnets (one night) and pink fishnets (another night). I wore Badgley Mischka Humbie IV Grey Plum Evening Shoes that have a fuchsia/turquoise/silver hologram effect (one night) and silver Tory Burch flats with pink glitter stars on each toe (also from Xotic Eyes). For the microphone, I used fuchsia glitter duck tape around the handle and glued another pink glitter star on the front of the microphone.
My dogs dressed up as the Holograms with handmade (from eBay) rockstar dresses with pink and purple tutus (Amazon).
