This is my 5 year old son Donovan. We love Despicable Me, 1 & 2. So this year, I busted out the craft skills and created Minion Stuart (Stuart is known for his one eye and center parted hair, btw). I created the costume with poster board, foam, felt, glue gun ( a lot), one of those green foaming things used for flower arrangements, carved it out so my son could see through it.
All heads turned when we went trick or treating. Best in the neighborhood! Though, I think the funniest moment was when he shouted really loud “I just farted!”, then a few seconds later, “I’m so stinky in here” (not much ventilation), I and a nearby family, lost it! I have also included a family shot, we like to theme party. Though my husband’s costume is not home-made, and mine is very simple, it still came together nicely.
