I made a Wonder Woman costume with a lot of re-purposed items. I used scraps of spandex, stretch lame’ and felt as well as an old pair of boots. The only items I really had to purchase was a little satin fabric for the skirt, gold rope and red spray paint for the boots.
The top was constructed from an old bustier. I sewed spandex over it and appliqued the golden eagle shape over the bust area. The belt was made from some gold material over some foam board and then hot glued onto the top. I made star spangled bottoms from spandex and felt stars. The boots were once black and sprayed painted red. I used white duct tape for the accents on the boots.
Overall I think it turned out pretty good with a little 1940’s Wonder Woman flair!
