I wanted something amazing for my daughter for her school’s fancy dress ball. After much internet sourcing, we decided on a peacock costume. I purchased 100 “seconds” peacock feathers off ebay, the tutu was handmade by a friend. I was lucky enough to have had a green feather mask in my cupboard and we painted her legs yellow with body paint.
I hot-glued the feathers onto a black plastic and feather fan that was also purchased off ebay.com.au and attached it with black ribbon around her waist.
That old saying “Pretty as a (picture) peacock? Well, that was my daughter.
