A bunch of my girl friends and I were sitting around the night before Halloween trying to figure out a unique costume idea that would top everyone else’s. We came up with the idea of being a six pack of beer.
For the homemade beer can group costume we started by wrapping ourselves in garbage bags.
Next, we used silver duct tape and wrapped it around us until we were completely covered.
Third, we cut the costume up the side, extended it with some more duct tape, and added Velcro so it would be easy to take the costume off.
Fourth, we trimmed the edges with bright blue duct tape.
Last, we taped the front of a Busch Light box to our stomachs, making us the six pack of Busch Light!
To this day, when we go out we still have people ask us, “Hey, weren’t you the Busch Light girls?”, or “why aren’t you wearing your costumes?” Overall, it was a very fun costume to make and I’m not quite sure how we will top it this year!
