This is my version of an awesome Lego pirate costume. The costume is constructed of only 3 types of cardboard (posterboard, thick cardboard, and thin cardboard), the only thing that is not recyclable is the mouth. It is cloth so I can see out of it. That makes this Lego Pirate Costume 99% recyclable.
I used 3 types of adhesives (grey tape, clear box tape, and hot glue). The Lego Pirate Costume measures about 8 feet 10 inches when I put it on. All the images on the costume are made drawn with pencil, then with marker, then hand brush painted with water based vinyl paint.
I worked on this Lego Pirate Costume over a span of about 4 days, but I have about 24 hours invested in making it. Every measurement is exact. No one side is bigger than the other. Now that I made this for the first time I see where I can make some more changes but all in all it came out pretty awesome. I am very mobile in the costume but can not put it on by myself.
