Coolest Handmade Barbie in a Box Girl Costume

I made this homemade Barbie in a Box girl costume out of my new television box. I cut open a frame so I could be seen and made the words ‘BARBIE’ by cutting and gluing them on. I also created handles on the side so it would be easy for me to walk around school.

The box is originally brown, but I went to the dollar store and bought pink table cloth and taped all over, to cover the brown, making it look like a legit barbie box.

It took quite some time because I had to measure the box so it was approximately my height and adding STRONG handles is important so you can walk around in the costume all day, without it breaking. It might be best to make separate handles, instead of cutting them inside the box so they won’t break off.

Other than making the box, you can use your own clothes to be creative and either curl your own hair, or use a wig, just like I did! You may also doll your self up with make up, to make you look like the perfect barbie in a box!
