Coolest Dora the Explorer Costume

I was Dora the Explorer for Halloween this year and it was super easy, and fairly inexpensive. I think it was a great costume for me because it was cute and fun, but not overdone and I wasn’t another “sexy (insert occupation here)” at the party. The best part is that most of the pieces of the costume can be used again (the shirt and shorts for PJs, I’ll wear the shoes next summer and the wig could be re-used for another costume).

1.) Clothing: Pink T-shirt (H&M $5.95) Orange Sofee Shorts (Modells $7.99) White “ked” like shoes (H&M $12.95)

2.) Wig: You could buy a black bob wig from the Halloween store, but I used a long black wig and cut it to the length I wanted.

3.) Accessories: Grab your backpack! My sister picked this up at Wal-mart, so I’m not sure how much it costs.

4.) Make-up: I darkened my eyebrows with a dark brown shadow and added lots of Bare Minerals “Warmth” bronzer to my entire face and neck. Other than that, I kept it simple with mascara and lip gloss!

The Homemade Dora the Explorer Costume is super easy and I received a ton of compliments on it! I also just added nude tights since it was cold out!
