My 11 year old daughter made this betty rubble costume using some blue material lying around the house and her sewing machine. She just made a cylinder top, and added a neck strap to hold it. Her little cousin is the model, holding her doll to match. The skirt is also a cylinder, at the top she added a waist band and cut the bottom to resemble betty’s dress. to make sure it didnt fray, she put fabric glue all around the edges of the skirt. it took her about four hours to make this cute costume! She had to re-make the top, since it didnt fit. The hairbow was made from the material scraps and a embellishment flower in the middle. My niece is going to rock it this halloween!
