Coolest McDonald’s Characters Group Costume

We decided to make this Homemade McDonald’s Characters Group Costume this year for a friend’s costume party. After going through several group costume ideas, we all fell in love with the idea of making costumes from our favorite childhood restaurant. I made my boyfriend’s Grimace costume with felt, a hula hood, and safety pins. I made the Hamburglar costume with black and white striped fabric and made the cape from black fabric along with the big triangle tie. The French fry box was made with cardboard and spray paint (a lot of spray paint) along with glue. My Ronald McDonald costume was made with red/white-striped fabric and bright yellow satin for a skirt.

I made the patterns from clothes that we already had but free handed it since the fabrics weren’t very expensive. The whole process was easy and after I sewed the pieces together we were ready to go. We even went to McDonalds!

  1. Hi I am a huge Grimace fan and was wondering if I would be able to buy that Grimace costume from you. It looks great.
