My son is growing his hair so that he can donate to Locks of Love. We were trying to think of something that we can incorporate his long hair into his costume and he came up with the idea of Moses. I had thought he would want to be a rock star or maybe even dress up as a girl but he chose a religious figure. Rather amusing as I am a Buddhist but I digress….
So off we went to JoAnn’s Fabrics. I don’t sew but I do have a sewing machine. So we bought the cheapest fabrics we could find that looked old and got some felt paper. (Brown for the tablets and grey for the beard and mustache).
It took me about an hour to put this together, just cut out some arms and stitched the sides. It was my son’s idea to enter the contest and he and his Dad wrote out the commandments by getting them online…
