I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and I am a Lakehead University student. I have had the dress for three years with the intention of going as Lady Beetlejuice for Halloween. I bought it in a small shop in Edmonton, Alberta. Make-Up was purchased at Shopper’s Drug Mart and a Halloween store, Helium Highs. Prescription creepy contacts purchased online via “Haunted Eyes”.
I wore white tights under fishnets and tall leather boots. White make-up also was applied to all visible skin. I really liked my costume but missed the opportunity to enter any costume contests because I had to bartend at work until after they were all over. It took about 20 minutes to apply the make-up, tease the hair, and get dressed. The contacts were easy to see out of because they were prescription and very comfortable.
