Homemade Lydia and Beetlejuice Costume

Every year we do a costume party for kids and adults and every year we have to come up with couple costumes. This year we chose Beetlejuice and Lydia the wedding scene. I found a old prom dress at the thrift store for four dollars and had to add to it. The dress was strapless and I had to get taffeta, (which was seven dollars), to add to the dress and got ribbon to make the collar. I made the veil with the left over taffeta and bought the gloves they were seven dollars.I bought roses at the local hobby lobby with some clearance ribbon and I spent nine dollars.

My total outfit cost was twenty seven dollars. I got his coat from a yard sale for three dollars and dyed some white linen pants that bought for five dollars. The white shoes were from ebay. I had to buy the wig off the internet. We took the picture in the graveyard, I thought that was fitting. If you could zoom in Beetlejuice is holding a severed finger with a ring. She meant nothing to him.
