I found a light pink dress at a local thrift store – only $12! First I cut off the lace sleeves. Then I needed to get it red. Here was the real problem. You can’t dye synthetic material. After several different things I tried, I ended up with cheap red spray paint! 5 cans of it, no less. Got some red gloves, some red tool for a veil, some red roses, and then the hair and make-up.
All in all the whole costumes ended up about $30! not too shabby. We had a fun adult halloween party at our house and ended up winning Best Couple costumes!
