We made Oompa Loompa costumes with a modern spin, they were also taylored for females. We were the girl Oompa Loompas. We got the socks from an accessories store (basically any cool colored striped socks will work). We used brown shirt that we already had. Polo neck or T-shirt, depending on the weather. Both of used white shorts, and suspenders. To keep warm, and to save us the trouble of painting our legs, we got orange leggings. We also got large plastic clown shoes and painted them white for that extra effect. And of course we used green hair spray, and orange body paint. As well, as for the girlie touches, green fake eyelashes, a green headband, green ring pops, and painted our nails green!
This Homemade Oompa Loompa Costume may seem like a lot of work but it was well worth it!!
