This is my Homemade Obi Wan Kenobi Costume that I have used on a number of different parties and always gets a waggle or two. This costume is really simple and it doesn’t look that bad, well I think so anyway.
The cloak was made and given to me by a friend and is the best part of the costume. (Kudos Rachel, love the cloak). Under the cloak is a large child’s dressing gown, which I got from Asda for £5. Under that is a brown T-shirt, which I got from Asda for £5. The Trousers are cotton tracksuit bottoms, which I got from Sports Direct for £6. The boots are my old work riggers safety boots, they were free from work. The light sabre I’d had a few years it was about £10 I forget the exact price but they range from £10 for a cheap one up to £50 for the fancy ones. Before I was given the cloak I used to use a brown bed sheet, which I safety pinned around myself but the cloak is loads better.
Next year I’m going to do the X-Wing Fighter pilot after seeing it on here, so watch this space. Love this site, full of great ideas so keep posting your costumes people.
