Coolest Homemade Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds Couple Costume

OK, first you have to go to your local thrift store or Goodwill, if that fails go to a store called ‘Jomar’- that’s were I got my dress. You need a blonde wig unless you have blonde hair, do your hair in an old fashion beehive.

Then you purchase a few dozen black crows (can be found in a local craft store or eBay) and you also need a black boa to be cut up for feathers like the birds are falling apart from impact of flying in to you. You use a hot glue gun and attach birds all over the dress with feathers from boa all over. Slice dress in certain spots to look like you were pecked at by the birds.

Then you need stockings and high heels and an old brown hand bag, which all can be found at a thrift store or borrow from someone. Then where costume is all sliced and ripped throw red fake blood on it all over were birds are. I suggest – look at the movie if you want exact detail like I did. Hope you enjoy, happy Halloween…
