Kermit the Frog took me about 2 weeks to construct and and alot of trial and era but finally got this masterpiece to look like the real deal. We went to a couple of big parties in arizona and placed 1st at one with over 1000 people there and 2nd at the other with over 400 people. Everybody loved the costume and all the hard work paid off. We were featured on many local radio station websites as well. The best part that most people do not expect is that I’m a guy and people can not believe a guy can sew something like this. I will admit that it is not perfect when you look closely at it but I think it turn out pretty good for not being a pro.
My girlfriend and I love Halloween and enjoy making our costumes because we do not want to buy a costume that everybody can be. We love be different for everyone else and having the shock factor when we walk in the room or attend a party.
In case you were wondering how Kermit the Frog was constructed? It is made out of Fury blanket material from Joann’s and stuffing. The head is constructed out of Styrofoam, foam, stuffing and a screen to look out of through the mouth.
Miss Piggy is wearing a wig with homemade ears sewed on and a pig nose that was glued on her face.
MUPPETS ROCK!!!
that is AWSOME!! I am trying to construct one right now.
