Look closely and you’ll see a little “baby balloon” being held by the clown.
The Clown costume was made by my Mother in Law for my husband when he was a little boy (early 80’s). I just added the balloons.
My son is being held by a snugli underneath an oversized black sweater. I wore all Black and a rainbow hat to blend into the costume.
the Clown hair was bought from the dollar store along with the felt which I cut out into balloon shapes two sides and sowed them together (it was stuffed with only the excess of the felt left over.)
Each balloon is just safety pinned to the sweater and when pining I added the ribbon to be the string for the balloons. It was a great costume and nice and warm for my little guy…

What a unique way to get the whole family involved. Too bad I can’t see the rainbow head in the pic
