Coolest Scary Dust Bunny Costume

I wanted to be a crabby old Dust Bunny that has been living under your bed. I made the dress out of cheese cloth and cotton jersey fabric that I dyed by hand. Torn strips of gray taffeta were added to the skirt to give it volume. The feet are made from faux fur glued over a pair of shoes and the toes are made from polymer clay and painted.

I am wearing a facial prosthetic that I painted myself with theater paints. The ears are made from heavy canvas enforced with wire and attached to a headband. I painted clumps of pillow stuffing and added them around the entire Scary Dust Bunny Costume to give the effect of dust.
