Cool Homemade Soft Serve Ice Cream Cone Costume

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! The materials used to make this soft serve ice cream cone costume was a 32gal trash can, hula hoops, card board, burlap, styrofoam, neckerchief, red pipe cleaners, colored straws, white pillow tubing, and stretchy string.

Cut the top and bottom of the trash can. Used the leftover plastic to attach the hula hoops. Attached the cardboard from the hula hoops to the trash can then covered it with burlap. I then used the leftover burlap to make straps.

I hot glued the white tubing around the cone then added the colored straws. Cut and glued the red neckerchief to the styrofoam cherry then stuck the Red pipe cleaner on the top of the cherry. Attached strings to the styrofoam cherry hat.

This costume was super fun to make and made we want ice cream while building it.
