In 2019, I saw a viral Oogie Boogie gown and completely fell in love with the idea as Oogie Boogie is my favorite Nightmare Before Christmas character! I decided that for my 2020 costume, I would do the dress with my own design and spin on it.
Towards the end of August, I gathered all my supplies and went to work on my design. I had many late nights in order to get my costume complete by my annual Halloween party, and I actually ended up finishing it the morning of the party! It turned out more than expected and everyone was in awe at my party!
Now, I wish to share it with everyone and hope to inspire others to make this dress or to even make their own costumes because homemade is simply the best!
