My fiance and I were in college (thus on a tight budget) but this Tron Legacy couple costume was awesome, and anyone who has seen the movie was really impressed! It was also comfortable for us both, which is always a plus.
Supplies:
Men’s costume-Long sleeve t-shirt, black sweatpants, black boots, blue painter’s tape, black paper plate, blue glow necklace and super glue.
Women’s costume- Black leggings, black boots, black long-sleeved t-shirt, black wig cut short and angled, blue painter’s tape, black eyeliner, black paper plate, blue glow necklace and super glue.
We looked up a photo of each character and cut the tape into thin and thick strips, then laid them on the clothes where the lines are on the costumes in the movie. For the women’s top, we cut out the shoulders of the t-shirt in order for it to look more like the movie character’s costume.
For the discs, we used blue glow necklaces we bought at the dollar store, then we super-glued them to black paper plates we bought at Target, then we super-glued the plates to the back of our costumes.
