Our son William was born 3 months premature and as a result of complication from his early start he has cerebral palsy.  Last year he decided he wanted to be Batman so his dad Matt decided to make a Batmobile to go over his wheelchair.  They spent time in the shop working on the design, fitting it over his wheelchair, cutting it out of cardboard, painting the pieces black and adding the finishing touches including a red pinstripe and batman logo lights!

Halloween night came and William was so excited to get dressed in his costume.  When we went  outside and put his Batmobile costume over his wheelchair his eyes lit up!  He was thrilled to go from house to house with his siblings showing off his one of a kind costume! Everyone we saw loved it and now the problem is we have set the bar pretty high for what we will do next year!
