Last year I really wanted to be creative and different with my son’s costume! I didn’t want him to be like the other kids in the neighborhood simply because I wanted him to stand out. Also with the price of costumes these days , its much cheaper to do it yourself so we decided to let him go as a bum.
He had a old plaid shirt that was about too small for him so the day of Halloween we just put a little dirt on it and threw a old pair of jeans on him with mix match socks and shoes! We went to the local Halloween store and got some brown paint and blended it with black powder make up I had to make the dirt look on his face. Halloween night came and everyone loved it! They thought it was a creative idea and could tell what he was even from a distance.
Overall this was a fun, cute, creative costume and for a three year old, he did love it!
