So I really wanted to be Princess Tiana for Halloween, but I just wasn’t finding the right costumes for it. I decided I would try to make it. I decided I would use a tutu, but make it a long tutu. You will need elastic band, tulle (I used 9 rolls from Wal mart $2.99 per roll). I measured the tulle doubled from my waist to the floor in order to make a long tutu. Measure the elastic around your waist see the two ends together. Take a piece of tulle doubled put against elastic bring the two ends of the tulle through the loop over the elastic, don’t make too tight right now just in case it needs to be adjusted. Do this all the way around depending on desired fullness rotating colors. I found the top at Wal Mart for $3.00 on clearance I simply glued rinestones on it. I also made the crown using floral wire intertwining it into a circle. Added ribbon aroumd the crown, and flowers from Micheal’s with a hot glue gun.
