Cool Homemade Wonder Woman Costume

Wonder Woman!

I found an old blue field hockey skirt at my local thrift shop which was my inspiration for my entire costume. For the stars on the skirt, I cut out starts from white duck tape and simply stuck them on to the skirt (was a quick fix for one night, but by the end the stars were falling off. I suggest painting the stars on if you have the time.) The top is a simple red cami, and I painted the Wonder Woman logo on it using gold paint!

The gold bands for my wrists and waist is simply gold sparkly ribbon that I cut and attached using safety pins.

Now for the hard part, the boots.

I took an old pair of high cloth boots that I had laying around and I was able to cover them in red and white Duck Tape. It took awhile, but it was definitely what completed my costume! I had so many compliments on it all night, every one thought I had bought my costume!
