I created my own homemade Avatar Halloween costume idea over a period of three weeks. After watching tutorials and viewing numerous pictures online, I came up with my own theory of the best avatar out there! I used all homemade products for the costume. The hair is my own and the avatar stripes were all hand painted myself. The prosthetics I used were also hand made and customized to fit me only! I also made the ears and the tail as well.
I made this costume on a budget and cost me under 40 dollars in total. The biggest expensive would have been the make up. I actually didn’t want to use traditional Halloween make up as it doesn’t last long on your face, so I tinted my own make up blue with a little white face make up. I made my nose out of foam play dough and painted it beige before painting it blue, so it would match my face. I sprayed my hair black and added sparkles everywhere!!
