This is my five month old daughter, Ember, our baby mermaid! My husband and I dressed up as fishermen, straight off of Truman Lake in Missouri, and we caught ourselves this freshwater mermaid! We got the idea because ever since her first bath, this baby loves the water. Swimming, splashing, floating, playing, she loves it. I’ve always called her our mermaid.
Her Homemade Baby Mermaid Costume was hand crocheted by myself, it was a very easy pattern, didn’t take much time at all. I was able to work on both the tail and hat during my daughter’s naps and play times the week before Halloween. And she looked adorable, but I’m not biased at all!
