The baker costume was purchased from an online culinary store. Much cheaper than retail stores that I checked. The piping bag is made from cotton, stuffed with batting and the tip is metallic painted foam. The bag conceals a can of silly string. This was a great prank.
The frame for the cake bride was made from light-weight clear poly-tubing. The cake is pretty easy to sew given the straight sides and its flat top. I ended up sewing satin ribbon inside the skin for securing to the frame. This made it easy to adjust the skin where needed. The purple satin icing was stuffed with batting.
The silk flowers and large bow all made to come off for storage. The fascinator (headpiece) is stacked Styrofoam circles with hot glued flower buds, ribbon and a plastic party plate. I made the bird-cage veil and hot glued it to the plate.

These pictures can’t do the costumes justice. This couple was absolutely the most fabulous costume I saw this year! The best part of it all was that she really was his bride this year, and he bakes amazing cakes (including their wedding cake), so it all worked so fantastically for those of us that know them.
This costume combo of Shane and Sabrina as pastry chef and cake has to be one of the cleverest and cutest ever. So, so sweet!
