My boyfriend and I went as Bath Time Fun Couple Costume for Halloween! I was a loofah and my boyfriend went as my “loofah user!”
I made my costume with a cheap tube dress/swimsuit cover up from Target, 15 yards of tulle, safety pins and a white rope from the curtain department at a craft store. I cut the tulle into 12×12 squares, gathered all the corners of the square and safety pinned all the corners together to the dress in rows. I put the sections of tulle close together and made it really puffy. It took me, all together, about 4 hours to make the loofah costume.
It was a cold October night and we were planning on walking around a lot so I put a long sleeve black shirt and black leggings on and it made the green really stand out. I also tied some leftover tulle to a bobby pin and put it in my hair.
My boyfriend’s costume was a last minute idea! He wore a bathrobe and a shower cap!
We got a ton of compliments and had a GREAT time!!
