Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice
My husband and I host a large Halloween party each year and every year we set the standard higher. This year’s theme for us as a couple was Beetlejuice. We created his Beetlejuice costume from a Dr. lab coat and scrubs sewing pattern. We cut the jacket to a shorter length. The material and pattern was purchased at JoAnn Fabrics.
The wig is a “Beetlejuice” official wig that we purchased off eBay. Beetlejuice’s make up is white costume makeup applied with a foam sponge, with green costume make up blotted on the forehead and side burns, black costume make up was applied to out line Beetlejuice’s eyes.
The boots are just black steel toe work boots with the pants tucked inside. Beetlejuice is wearing a plain white dress shirt with a black tie. My husband thought that this was a rather comfortable costume for all the makeup and the extra layers of clothes. I made sure to sew in pockets on the pants so that he would have a place for his wallet.
