Black Swan Homemade Costume

The base of the costume was a corset, 2 tutus , rhinestones, ballerina tights/shoes, and lots of feathers. The makeup was a combination of theatrical white/silver, we had to use a white concealer to fill in the spots. Black and silver eyeliner was used to draw the feathers around her eyes, and red contacts did the rest. A toy crown was used as the base, and I broke up in a couple of places and held it together with some foil paper that I spray painted black.

We used the screen shots from the film to match the feather pattern around the corset and rhinestones were necessary. The cover of the film was used to match the face makeup. It took 4 hours to do the make up.
