Coolest Brewing Human and Witch Halloween Costume

This costume was such a hit that one of the bars even carded the witch! Everyone thought it was two people!

I made the witch by building a frame out of plastic pipe and attached it to my back as if it was a backpack. I padded it with bubblewrap. For the head, I used paint stir sticks to give the witch mask some stability and to attach it to the pipe. I bought a witches brew pot from a Halloween party store and cut it in half. I put two tiny slits towards the top and put a belt through it so I could attach the pot to my waist. The witch’s arms are stuffed with bubble wrap and the fake hands are attached to the pot with Velcro.

I stuffed a pair of jeans and attached them to the witch’s pot by drilling holes into the middle of the front of the pot and using string to attach the legs. The witch’s feet are my feet. The long witch’s dress has a big hole in the stomach area that I would step into when I would put on the costume. I would slip on an extra shirt to cover up the straps from the “backpack style” costume.
