Coolest Cat in the Hat Family Costume

I was Cat in the Hat and bought the bow tie, hat and gloves as a set at a costume store. I also purchased a black tail. I wore a black turtleneck and black sweat pants. I went and purchased some furry fabric from WalMart and cut it in a large oval and sewed it onto my turtle neck. For the boys as Thing 1 and Thing 2 I bought red sweatshirts and red sweatpants. I bought several blue feather boas and sewed them onto two hats they already had. We cut out some white iron on fabric and copied the “Thing 1” and “Thing 2” logos from the internet in permanent marker onto the fabric then ironed it onto their sweatshirts. Went to Goodwill and picked up two pairs of red gloves for a buck each.

This Cat in the Hat Family Costume was such fun!
