Coolest Darth Maul Homemade Costume

My 5 year old son wanted to be Darth Maul for Halloween this year. We found a Darth Maul costume reference from the 501st Legion. I took a karate pattern and modified it to make the Sith Robe. Then sewed the tabards, the pants, and the loin cloth. I modified some gauntlet style gloves to fit him. Then spray painted some rain boots black. His favorite part was the store bought double ended light saber. Instead of buying a mask, we got a bald cap and some small demon horns. We used spirit gum to glue the horns on, then painted his face, ears, neck, and bald cap, to match the tattoos of Darth Maul. The makeup took about 1 1/2 hours to apply. He looks great!
