We love watching the show The Mandalorian, and we just love “Baby Yoda.” My 8 year old son decided he wanted to be Baby Yoda for Halloween, but he also wanted to look like he was in the pod. So my husband and I decided to try and make it for him.
I made the mask using foam & some layers of liquid latex, cotton, hot glue, and spray painted it. I made the eyes using cut up soda bottles, and painted them around the rim. I sewed the robe and collar out of fleece material.
My husband made the pod using wire for the shape, covered it with thin foam, and spray painted it. We cut a hole for his legs and attached with suspenders. Everyone kept yelling “Baby Yoda!!!!” as we went trick or treating.
