As a single dad of twins I wanted to create something special for me and my girls. I started the project of the Family Costume: Cops, Robbers and a couple bags of baby money by using off white colored pillow cases, I cut them down to size. Then I stenciled dollar signs with a card board cut out I made and painted them on both sides of the case.
I cut out leg and arm holes and sewed a pair of leggins in place for their legs to stay warm and put a long sleeved onsies on them for the arms. I weaved a string around the collar to keep it snug on their necks. I then photo copied some bills I had on me and cut them out and stapled them to stick out of the collar. The robbers out fit was made out of stuff around the house, all black. And eventually a friend wanted to join us to form the cop.
