Coolest Female Master Chief Halo 3 Costume

What you need for this Coolest Female Master Chief Halo 3 Costume:
Cardboard
Masking Tape
Newspaper
PVA Glue
Green Spray Paint
Black paint
Plastic cider bottle

Structure:
Use cardboard and masking tape to create the frame. Start by cutting out basic shapes and then build them up and bend them to shape. You can layer up the cardboard to create better effects. Experimient with different shaped pieces of cardboard to gain the desired affect. For example, to create the dome of the helmet fit together triangular cut cardboard pieces. Stick together with masking tape to hold in place.

Strengthen:
Using PVA glue completely coat the cardboard with newspaper and leave to dry, this gives your costume strength and rigidity.

Paint and finish:
Spray completely with the green spray and then once dry add in finer details with the black paint. Cut out a section of the cider bottle and fit inside the helmet with glue to create a visor.

Result:
After 3 long days hard work it was finished, but it was worth it! It went down a treat and everyone loved it! Just remember to store it properly…mine ended up squashed up in the loft and went damp and rotten! I was very upset!
