Coolest Flamingo Girl's Homemade Halloween Costume Idea

Since my other daughter wanted to be a Peacock my daughter thought to keep with a theme and she picked a Flamingo. I searched for a Flamingo Girl’s Homemade Halloween Costume Idea but came up with nothing. I figured if I can make a peacock costume then I can make a flamingo too.

I started with a pink leotard, tights and a pink $2 tutu. I bought about 4 yards of dyed pink goose feathers. I sewed the feathers onto ribbon to make a detachable belt so my daughter would be able to use the tutu again for something else. I also sewed feathers onto the neckline of her leotard and made feathered arm cuff. I took an old hair clip that I already had and hot glued some pink feathers onto it.

For the nose I just made that out of old pink cardstock paper I already had. She absolutely loved it.
