Coolest Flying Monkey Dog Costume

This year I decided I wanted to dress up my pug like the flying monkey from The Wizard of Oz.  I made most of it out of felt started with making a vest out of blue felt and just sewing on two long rectangles for the sleeves.

I free handed a pattern onto red felt and then hot glued it to the vest. And then I made him a hat from a plastic punch glass, hot glued the felt, and used elastic to make it stick on his head.  it was a very easy costume total cost was about 25 the wings I got from Walmart that were a women’s costume wings I bought a witch costume and painted my face green so that I could accessorize his costume as the Wicked Witch.  it was a lot of fun and we got a lot of comments on our costume.
