Coolest Gizmo DIY Costume

I decided to make my son a Gizmo costume because it was one of his new favorite movies. I purchased faux fur from Joanns in brown and white. First I made the pants out of the white fur. Next, I made the chest out of the brown fur and added a white middle to it. Then I made the sleeves brown and white and attached them to the chest. I then added a brown hood to top of the Gizmo Costume.

I made the ears from white foam and painted it to resemble Gizmo’s ears. I used a hot glue gun to attack wire to the back of the ears to give them shape. I then sewed them onto the hood to complete the costume. We added facepaint to finish the look.
