Cause chickens don’t really fly, get it? lol We built the plane out of cardboard and paper mache and fitted it to the stroller. Goldie’s costume is footy pajamas with feather boas all around. Her helmet is a pink beanie cut in the shape of an old timey fighter helmet and her goggles are swim goggles with pink felt to make them look like aviation goggles.
This Goldie the Chicken Pilot Homemade Costume was time consuming but not difficult — beware the molting tho. There were feathers everywhere! She won the local costume contest for 2010.
