Coolest Grady Twins from The Shining Halloween Costumes

I love horror flicks and ‘The Shining’ is by far, the best one!

Here’s my take on the scary Grady Twins from the movie. By far the scariest girls around!

These are adult sized costumes. It took forever for me to find the perfect materials and colors for these Grady Twins from The Shining Halloween Costumes. I’ve wanted to make them for many years now. I finally found what I was looking for.

You could use a blue and white dot fabric if needed!

I started off drafting my own pattern based on some great stills from the movie. It’s such a simple looking design, but evokes such a creepy feeling!

I made the line dress out of a blue/gray cotton. Then, the puffy sleeves from this amazing Swiss dot that I had in blue. I added the bottom ruffle in the same Swiss dot.

I added the simple collars and a zipper down the back. I trimmed the collar, sleeves, and skirt in some great white, scalloped lace trim.

I made the belt from a satin ribbon and made some pink ribbon flowers to adorn it.

These Grady Twins from The Shining Halloween Costumes were a huge hit!!
