I took the idea for this headless costume from the site obviously. I thought it was a very easy yet awesome idea so I decided to do my own version of the costume.
I used the roller backpack method, which I had to destroy and just keep the structure of the handle and the straps to put it on. I taped the handle so it wouldn’t come down and then put the jacket on, which I got at a thrift store along with a pair of XXXL pants to be able to pull them up all the way to my chest.
I filled up the jacket with towels and some other things to form the body and I put a red shirt right on top so it looked like a bloody neck. The hands were some gloves I stuffed with toilet paper
then I painted my face and got fake blood that I put around my lips and on my forehead. Then some baby powder on my hair so it looked gray and creepy and that was that!
It needed help to be put on and was very very uncomfortable after wearing it all night but I got lots of attention every time I walked by/in a place and everyone was telling me how fun and awesome the costume was. I didn’t win the contest but I got to be a finalist
This headless costume is definitely gonna make you at least a finalist on any contest and best of all, its easy to do and not expensive at all and people it looks very real although it is kind of uncomfortable but it’s worth it
