This year I decided to make my costume since I work at a zoo I love seeing the peacocks so decided I wanted to make a Home Made Peacock Costume.
I bought 50 peacock feathers from eBay for about 25 dollars. I then glued the features to a piece of card board, I made two vertical cuts to weave through a elastic belt I bought for about 7 dollars at Wet Seal. I added cooking skewers (that you can find at your local drug store) to the cardboard for support and on the back of the card broad I added some black feathers so that the cardboard wasn’t showing.
I cut the peacock feathers down and glued them to black paper so that the feathers are flat and won’t get damaged. I added these feathers to my shirt around the V-neck. I also took a cheap headband and put 4 of these feathers and glued them to the side of the headband.
