Coolest Homemade Alex Delarge from Clockwork Orange Costume

I really like getting into character for Halloween. Rather than going to a costume shop and picking something off the shelf, I like to think about movie characters that have intrigued me or other ideas that you might not see on a regular basis. I love going to thrift shops and pulling the pieces together and it’s a challenge to me to see how inexpensively I can put together a costume. I also love the make-up portion of the whole Halloween mystique.

With that in mind, I remembered the movie Clockwork Orange and thought it would be fun to make a Homemade Alex Delarge from Clockwork Orange Costume. It was a simple costume yet fun to pull together. I scrounged through the clearance racks for off-season white pants and found those for only $9. I already owned shoes and a white shirt; I found a pair of suspenders, as well as a hat, on clearance! The only thing I paid full price for was the cane at $4.

The most fun was doing the make-up. I really like how it turned out and I hope you do too.
